BLEACH LONDON SILVER SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER - REVIEW

Sunday, 27 March 2016

Hi guy's today's post is as promised a review on the Bleach London shampoo & conditioner, so I purchased these a couple of months back after my hairdresser recommended them to me. I have such thick hair and I choose to get it highlighted every 6 weeks with different blonde shades through it, I am naturally dark brown and I always found (still do) that my hair looks very dull with just one colour, so I want to say for the past 4 years I've dyed it blonde.

Because my hair grows very quickly my roots show through and can be very noticeable, I've played around with different shades of blonde so my roots blend into the rest of my hair a bit better but I have never really got the result I wanted. The obvious answer would be to either get my hair dyed a little more often than 6 weeks, or just to give up with the blonde highlights and dye it a colour nearest to my natural, but as we all know, us girls - we always want something different. Am I right?

I have been using the silver shampoo and conditioner every time I wash my hair which is normally every couple of days, or sometimes I can get away with 3 days. So the shampoo can be a bit scary when you open it as the colour is very bright, like a royal blue colour and the conditioner is more of a pale purple colour. The first time I used it, I did wonder whether I had bought the right products because the last thing I wanted was to turn my hair blue!!

But trust me this didn't happen.. god imagine my face if it had! Anyway the shampoo is great, it lathers up really well so don't feel like you need to use a lot because you don't, it smells great although it does have a strong sent but if your not to bothered it's fine. The conditioner is great to, it's a very thick consistency so again you don't need to use a lot of this either. I tend to really massage this into the ends of my hair more and then slowly work up to the roots. I leave the conditioner in for about 5 minutes before washing it out, just because I do have thick hair, I like to get more moisture back into it.

So these products have 100% worked for me it has lightened the colour out more and also helped my roots by brightening that area up which has blended in to the rest of my hair colour really well. It has reduced the yellow tones from my hair leaving it with more of a ashy blonde tone. Obviously some areas of my hair where I have really bright blonde shades already have gone a silvery/whitish colour. But because I have so much hair and different shades, it works for me and I really enjoy the look. If you want to avoid that, maybe don't use the products as often as I do.

So this may help you get an understanding of what I mean and how it has worked for me!

I well and truly going to be sticking with these products for a long time as I really have seen great results from them. I have also tried to keep into a routine of getting my hair dyed on a more regular basis but having these products as part of my haircare routine has definitely helped!

If you want to take a look you can pick these up from Boots or Bleach London's website -

Let me know what you thought to the post, or even have a chat about the products. I'd love to hear your thoughts. :)
